In de antique Warehouse vindt u een grote collectie antieke globe's  van diverse makers, diameters en jaartallen. De antieke globe bestaat al in de zestiende eeuw en staat in verband met navigatie en landmeetkunde. Bij ons vindt u Europese globe's uit de negentiende en vroeg twinstigste eeuw. De globe geeft u een prachtig tijdsbeeld van de toenmalige situatie in de wereld, die vaak weer zeer actueel is. Naast de informatieve kant van een globe is het een prachtig item voor in de studeerkamer of bibliotheek.

In 1953 the two parts of Rhodesia were reunited, and combined with Nyasaland, modern day Malawi in the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, and after its dissolution in 1963 the whites demanded independence from Southern Rhodesia (Rhodesia from 1964).

Altijd al op zoek geweest naar een mooie antiek globe, bij de Antique Warehouse heeft u in diverse maten (diameters bol), makers (Engels,Frans, Nederlands, Zweeds, Amerikaans etc. )en jaartallen een grote voorraad waar u altijd een mooie globe uit kan kiezen. De globe geeft een goed beeld van de continenten tov elkaar en het tijdbeeld van de landen onderling. Naast dat het een mooi object is, is het een verhaal over de geschiedenis en een goed beeld van een wereld die continu aan het veranderen is.

Zeer gave en 100 % originele Franse globe, te dateren tussen 1924 en 1930 gemaakt. De globe is nooit gerestaureerd, heeft geen plekjes of deuken en is nog zeer helder van kleur prachtig mooi. Deze globe terrestre is 1 op 65.000.000 of te wel 1 mm is 63 kilometer maw 1 cm is 630 km. De globe maker, uitgever is J.Forrest, adres, 17,19 rue de Buci Paris. Uitgebreide legende, met zeestromen, telegraaf kabels etc etc,  het landen bezit is in kleuren weergegeven.  De globe heeft een diameter van 21 cm en is 36 cm hoog.

Zeer originele kleine globe gemaakt door de firma J.Forrest, 17 Rue de Buci 17 a Paris. Dit antieke globe tje is in een uitstekende en originele staat circa 25 cm hoog. Onder de globe op de noord zuid pool as zit een draai mechaniek zodat de globe zelf niet met handen wordt aangeraakt.

Zeldzaam klein Frans globetje, afmeting 7 cm en hoog 11,5 cm.

Zeer mooie antieke globe gemaakt in Frankrijk maar bewerkt voor de Nederlandse markt. De globe heeft geen deuken of andere schade en is nog mooi helder van kleur. Tevens staan op deze globe heel mooi de zeestromingen afgebeeldt.

In een zeer goede staat deze Duitse antieke Erd Globus, gezeichnet & hergestellt, Karthografisch Institut, Peter J. Oestergaard, Berlin Schoneberg. De globe staat op een zwarte hout gedraaide voet, met om de globe een messing gradenboog. Zeer sfeervolle globe zonder deuken en weg gepoetste landen.
