Exceptional antique desk from Ireland with a unique arrangement of drawers and compartments, circa 1870

Very exceptional antique desk from Ireland dating from around 1870. It is a desk that features both compartments and drawers in a very convenient size. Very beautifully made, the unique aspect is that it has two drawers on one side of the top and three drawers on the other side. These large drawers suggest that drawings were likely stored in them.
